This all-Tchaikovsky program will take audiences through a broad spectrum of emotions with the thundering virtuosity of the Piano Concerto No. 1 and the aching beauty of Francesca da Rimini, the story of Dante’s star-crossed lovers Francesca and Paolo. The evening’s performance will be complete with fireworks after the 1812 Overture. The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Principal Guest Conductor Stéphane Denève will make his Mann debut.
