MFS VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM: WHAT IS CLASSICAL MUSIC?

March 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

For over two hundred years, the Musical Fund Society has championed “classical music.” As our third century begins and we think about who we are, who we should be, and who we can be – there’s no question more important than “What is Classical Music?”

On Monday, March 6, at noon on Zoom, please join a stellar panel of musicians and arts leaders whose innovative and diverse perspectives are key to today’s musical life in Philadelphia and beyond. We’ll talk with Dynasty Battles, Mark ChristmanAndrea ClearfieldDustin Hurt, Matthew Levy, Diane Monroe, and Suzzette Ortiz, and about what classical music looks like today and where it’s going – we invite you to participate in this conversation about a topic that is so important to the Society and our musical community.
