| About Pat: Patricia Manley believes in music as a form of connection that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. An active performing musician for many years, Pat has played double bass with many orchestral and chamber ensembles in North and South America. She has directed community arts organizations and has served on panels and committees that help make the arts accessible to diverse audiences. Pat earned an MBA from Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business, and studied double bass at Ithaca College and the National University of Argentina. She has served on the board of Philadelphia’s Network for New Music and as a panelist for local, state, regional, and national arts funding organizations.As Director of Advancement for both Marlboro School of Music and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Pat is dedicated to serving the missions of these organizations, and to broadening perceptions of and support for chamber music and the related arts so that high quality artistic experiences are accessible to audiences now and in the future. |
