Grantee News Dolce Suono Ensemble

MFS is proud to support the Dolce Suono Ensemble  (DSE) this season. Earlier this month, DSE presented “New Classics: DSE Commissions.” The concert and subsequent panel discussion were a resounding success, as the commissioned works performed by DSE acclaimed artists were met with an enthusiastic reception and standing ovation. The panel discussion with composers Jennifer Higdon and Thomas Whitman, moderated by Mimi Stillman, resulted in an engaging conversation as audience members asked thoughtful and robust questions.
