Investing in the musical life and legacy of Philadelphia

Special Grant Support

During the fall of 2020, the Musical Fund Society announced that it was allocating an additional $50,000 in special grants to area musicians and music organizations, in recognition of the financially challenging climate for the arts right now. In light of this situation, the Society has awarded general operating grants to the 12 most recent MFS grantee organizations, as well as grants to four prior MFS Career Advancement Award-winning artists. This support is sustaining the important work of the arts in Philadelphia and continues the Society’s mission of investing in the cultural life and musical legacy of the Philadelphia region.

Below are videos from these organizations that have met these challenging times with flexibility and creativity.
