The Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia presents a variety of in-person and virtual events for its members throughout the year; many of these events are open to the public as well.

For a list of MFS Member events, please see below. The list includes in-person and virtual meetings for members, virtual sessions on a wide range of topics of interest to the music community, and a variety of discount offers for MFS members from participating presenters.

MFS Member In-Person Events:

  • Annual Member Meeting:
    • Tuesday, May 5, 2026: 5:30 PM, Zoom

  • Spring Celebration:
    • Thursday, May 21, 2026: 5:45 PM – 8 PM, American Philosophical Society

Free to MFS members ($3 handling fee per ticket); contact PCMS at 215-569-8080 for reservations.

MFS Member Events and Workshops:

  • Royalties and Licensing for Music Creators: Wednesday, October 22, 4:00 – 5:00 PM. A workshop with Deirdre Chadwick, Executive Director of Classical Music BMI and President of the BMI Foundation. This event is FREE for current MFS members. If you are not already a member, click HERE to join!
