Grantee News: Esperanza Arts Center

March 21, 2024

MFS is thrilled to spotlight grantee Esperanza Arts Center, which has been in the business of spreading hope for more than 30 years.

The Esperanza Arts Center, dedicated in December 2018, is part of the fulfillment of Esperanza’s 10-year neighborhood strategic plan help to define Hunting Park as a regional center for Latino arts and culture, a place where people want to live and work, and a destination for people from across the Greater Philadelphia area.

Since its opening in 2018, EAC has presented more than 140 performances and events reaching an audience of over 18,000 people, all celebrating the vibrancy of the Latino arts and cultural scene in Hunting Park and in Philadelphia, showcasing the talents of local artists, and promoting a deeper understanding of Latin music and culture.
